CEO & Co-Founder
Weird fact about you?
I’ve had a sit-down lunch with the President of India when representing the UK in the Commonwealth Games.
Who’s your celebrity lookalike?
I’d love to be able to say something like Leonardo Di Caprio, but I get Olly Murs a lot!
Outside of work, tell us about you.
After being born and raised in London, I turned to the dark side and moved to Essex where I’ve stayed for the last 10+ years. I’ve done my fair share of travelling the world, spending some time living in Chang Mai and Sydney.
I recently moved to the sticks surrounded by countryside. As it turns out, I’ve become pretty outdoorsy as I get older. In my spare time, I foster dogs in emergency rescue centres until we can find them a home—so at times, my house can be a bit of a zoo!
I’ve always been a big football fan and (unfortunately for me) I’ve been a West Ham season ticket holder for years. Our time must be coming soon right?
Favourite location?
Siem Reap, Cambodia. I could talk about this place for ages.
If you could change one thing about the industry what would it be?
Inequality. Too many companies claim to have a D&I recruitment policy when in reality they don’t have one or do very little in this area. There are different strategies you can apply to recruitment, in order to become a more diverse business and this is something that we all need to be doing.
If you had one superpower, what would it be and why?
I think it would have to be… the ability to control time. With my power, I would be able to stop, reverse, slow down and speed up time whenever I wanted to. Having control of time would let me go back and be the brains behind some of the world’s best tech start-ups ... I’d have to buy a penthouse in the Valley!
