Outside of work, tell us about you.

I’m someone who is rarely sitting down with no plans! I love seeing friends and going out to eat. I’m close to my family so I spend a lot of time with them, both of my brothers were the best man at my wedding! 

I’m massively into my fitness; there’s nothing I like more than heading to the gym whenever I’m stressed or have had a bad day! I also love cooking and trying new foods. My partner doesn’t always like the idea of the weird and wonderful things that I try to cook, but they usually go down well.

Who’s your celebrity lookalike?

I’d love to lie here, but I once got told I looked like Jay from the Inbetweeners, and the whole room burst out laughing (and unfortunately, they all agreed). There’s a reason why you’ll never see me with long hair again!

what’s your favourite location and why?

My favourite location has to be Lanzarote! This was my family’s go-to holiday destination when I was growing up, and in 2022, I got engaged to my fiancé there whilst my family were on holiday with us, so that’s going to take some beating!

Favourite film / TV series?

I love a crime series/documentary, but as I re-watch The Office back-to-back, it has to be that. 

What got you into recruitment?

As I always considered myself a hard worker, I knew I wanted a career where my output was directly related to what I could earn. I also studied Business and Psychology at University, so I loved the idea that recruitment would blend the business and people elements of those. 

What would you do if you weren't a Recruiter?

Outside of recruitment, I’ve always found the Venture Capital space so interesting. In my role, I love talking to early-stage founders, and I find it very rewarding to be able to help them raise funds and become a success.
