OUTSIDE OF WORK, TELL US ABOUT you.

I’d say I like to keep myself busy. I’m extremely passionate about health and fitness and spend a lot of my time in the gym, usually trying to lift weights that are far too heavy for me. 🏋️

Travelling has always been something that I love to do, and I’ve been lucky enough to visit some amazing places. Straight after graduation three friends and I got the chance to travel across South East Asia where we visited Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Philippines – hands down the best trip I’ve ever been on.

Childhood Hero:

Michael Jordan – After watching Space Jam for the first time as a child, Michael Jordan instantly became my hero. If you haven’t seen the Netflix Documentary “The Last Dance” exploring his career, I’d highly recommend checking it out.  

What would you do if you werEn’t a recruiter?:

At a younger age, I aspired to become a professional golfer and did manage to get down to a 6-handicap playing at county level – inevitably my studies got in the way (that’s what I like to tell people anyway!)

More realistically, I’d be interested in exploring Web Development as a career. In my spare time, I’ve been brushing up my Development knowledge using platforms like Pluralsight and Udemy. At first, the idea was to improve my capabilities as a recruiter, now I would classify it as a hobby!

An interesting fact about sam?

My family used to build armoured hunting vehicles for the Saudi royal family – I can safely say the family business has changed quite a bit since then but always cool looking back at old newspaper reports about it!
